Couple Photoshoot in Morocco: A Sunset Horseback Session

Some sessions plan themselves. Two horses, a wide Atlantic beach and the last forty minutes of daylight — this couple photoshoot in Morocco was shot on the Agadir coast, riding along the water's edge as the sun dropped into the ocean. No studio, no props: just light, movement and two people completely in their moment.

The session

We started as the light turned warm, walking the horses through the shallows where the wet sand mirrors the sky. From there the session moved naturally — riding side by side, pauses to laugh at the waves, quiet frames facing the sunset. The best couple photos are never really posed: my job is to put you in the right light and let the moment happen.

Why sunset, why the beach

Golden hour on this coast is short and generous at the same time. The low sun wraps everything in warm light, the ocean turns gold, and the wet sand doubles the scene like a mirror. Horses add what no location can fake: movement, elegance and a story. It is the most requested setup for a couple photoshoot in Agadir — and once you see the light, you understand why.

Planning your own couple session

Timing — we meet about 45 minutes before sunset; the whole session runs on that one window of light.
Outfits — flowing fabrics and warm, light tones (white, beige, terracotta) move beautifully in the sea breeze; bring a second outfit if you want two moods.
The horses — arranged with trusted local handlers on the beach, with calm horses for first-time riders. No experience needed.
Locations — beyond the beach, couples sessions also run in Taghazout village, Paradise Valley, Marrakech riads and the Agafay desert.
